Museum of Understanding Through Tolerance and Inclusion
Led by the resilient voices of those with lived experience, the Museum of Understanding Through Tolerance and Inclusion (MUTTTI) raises public consciousness on the importance of tolerance, mutual respect and inclusion in preventing discrimination, protecting human rights, and achieving reconciliation between groups of individuals within Australia. By providing a platform of resistance people can share their experiences of overt and covert discriminations which led to their human rights being violated. Through their stories our similarities will override perceived differences, allowing people to be brought together by their common humanity rather than being divided by age, disability, race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status and cultural ideologies.
