Youth2Industry College

Youth2Industy College is a small, independent senior secondary College in South Melbourne that aims to provide a safe, non-competitive nurturing environment. As an alternative senior secondary College we deliver tailored, applied learning for students aged between 15-19 years. Our students have an interest in learning but many have not been suited to mainstream education settings, and may require cognitive or social emotional adjustments to complete their senior school studies. Learning is delivered in a very practical way with a strong focus on each student’s individual support needs and unique learning styles. Alongside offering the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) or Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC), we prioritise students technical and transferable skills with access to over 40 Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses and School Based Apprenticeships and Training (SBATs). At the heart of our philosophy are our four values: Resilience, Inclusion, Perseverance, and Empathy. These values guide our student-centred and strength-based approach as we prioritise the overall well-being and engagement of our students in a holistic manner. Our goal is to help all students develop the skills and knowledge needed to have fulfilling lives and careers, placing emphasis on creating opportunities for real-world exposure.
