The Repair Café Redcliffe Peninsula Inc is a volunteer organisation, repairing and maintaining household items, giving treasured possessions another life, helping to reduce living costs, reducing landfill, and helping our environment.
There are over 2,500 Repair Cafés worldwide, over 100 in Australia, and 14 in South-east Queensland.
Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they are all about repairing household equipment. Items typically repaired are clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, et cetera. You’ll find expert volunteers with repair skills in all kinds of fields.
The Repair Café does not compete with professional repair specialists.
