Wyndham FC is a State 5 soccer club under Football Victoria, who provide training/games/events throughout the year to community members across a broad range of community groups including: - The Burmese (Karen/Karenni/Chin/Burmese) community - African Community - Other multicutural communities We provide a safe an enjoyable local council environment whereby families can enjoy interaction and involvement with a broad and viable community based organisation where they can play sport and gain membership and support, without prejudice. To achieve our club’s Vision statement we will employ two primary objectives: 1. Developing and training the local youth through engaging them in soccer and promoting strong community relations and involvement. The committee knows that the children playing at the club are the future and it will focus on this through involvement in sport and recreation and local community involvement. This will be achieved through tactical and mental development of our youth, coaching them in football and preparing them for their senior careers by giving them a chance to succeed in whatever direction they pursue by employing coaching and skill development, as well as providing them with the skills to work in a team, create friendships and teach them strong moral and ethical skills to support them in the growth to adulthood by doing what they love. 2. As a very strong community-based organisation our aim is to be there for local community members, and want to be recognised as a club that people can reach out to for support and to assist locally with development and growth in a positive and friendly manner through involvement with soccer and family and friendships created therein.
