Wanderers Football Club were founded in 1917 and is one of three founding clubs in the Northern Territory Football League. Wanderers Football Club is based at the Marrara Sporting Complex and has a footprint in the Northern Suburbs of Darwin, and a large following amongst the Northern Territory remote indigenous communities.
