ZamZam Foundation's mission is to improve the lives of women and girls in Afghanistan and the Afghan diaspora in the Australian Capital Territory.
Through volunteer-led fundraising efforts, ZamZam financially supports locally led education programs in Afghanistan.
Working alongside the community, ZamZam volunteers also help to deliver resources and programs for newly arrived Afghanistan refugees. Current initiatives include supporting women to learn to drive and to improve their English and developing networks of peer-to-peer support. Our volunteers also assist with advocacy and community-building efforts.
