We cook 15,000 meals a month and deliver them door to door to people in crisis throughout the community. With the cost of living and rental crises we need more volunteers to meet growing demand for our deliveries. We are now starting a hot meal service for rough sleepers. Initially, the meal delivery service will be on weekends only where there is a significant gap in hot food available for rough sleepers. However, we eventually hope to have enough volunteers to expand the service to weekdays and add frozen meal deliveries as well.
This work suits people who have a calm, sensitive, accepting and non-judgemental temperament who are above all, good listeners.
