The Footpath Library

Social connection and the freedom reading provides are at the heart of what The Footpath Library aims to provide people experiencing homelessness. It can be an incredibly lonely existence and reading can feed their soul and provide an escape from their daily struggles. As Australia’s only free giving library we provide access to good quality books and reading glasses and ask nothing in return.
