Hawkesbury's Helping Hands

For over 13 years, Hawkesbury's Helping Hands has supported those experiencing homelessness, at risk homelessness or food poverty. Providing individuals, families and teens with love, care, kindness, food, toiletries, clothing, shoes, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, swags, pet supplies also advice on services available and if possible, support with accommodation. We have a Drop in Hub on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am – 1pm for patrons to have a shower, breakfast and a cuppa. We have FREE Community Meal Service on Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 1pm and are open for showers and a cuppa at 11am. We also have Saturday hampers available for those needing a helping hand from 2pm – 4:30pm Cost $20 and provide one off emergency hampers for those who cannot afford it. Hawkesbury’s Helping Hands is also the first point of call for disaster relief having provided emergency relief for the last seven floods, bushfire and were open all through Covid. HHH works alongside and support many other charities and organizations, and work closely with numerous agencies, who often refer their clients to us. But most importantly we are here to let people know, that someone cares, truly cares, offering help, kindness and dignity 365 days of the year!!
