Tony Hobbs

Life Member from AGM 2020 Tony volunteered with VolunteeringACT for an incredible 17 years. Tony started volunteering when the Citizens Advice Bureau still existed and has been an integral member of our volunteer team ever since. For a long time, Tony looked after the City Walk reception desk, acting as the first point of enquiry for anyone contacting the organisation. More recently, Tony has dedicated his Tuesday afternoons to helping out at the Info Hub. Tony is a public transport expert and Canberra tourism guru; drawing on his experiences as a volunteer at the Canberra Tourist Information Centre to help inform his work at the Hub. His humility, diligence, and gentle humour make him an outstanding volunteer.
