Community Visitor Scheme

The South Australian Community Visitor Scheme (CVS) plays an essential role in promoting the wellbeing, dignity, safety and rights of people:- living with a mental health condition receiving care from a mental health service- living with a disability in a state-run disability service- who are under the guardianship of the Public Advocate and participants in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)The CVS visits, inspects and advocates for improvement to services. The CVS protects people’s rights, while continually supporting the improvement and enhancement of care services.
