Mercy Place Cairns (Bethlehem)

Mercy Place Bethlehem provides support and care to older people in the form of independent living and an aged care facility. Volunteers have an integral role in supporting the residents and lifestyle team in various roles such as providing social interaction, assisting with lifestyle activities, gardening, and helping with facility events and bus outings. We also have an active Pastoral Care program, where volunteers provide support . These significant contributions from the volunteers support our residents to actively participate in life and maintain independence and social connections.
