Army Museum of NSW Foundation

The Army Museum of NSW Foundation is located with the Victoria Barracks Paddington within a heritage building built around 1848. It is a not-for-profit organisation and obtains its finance by donation, membership fees and entrance fees to the Museum. Children are not required to pay any entrance fee, and we do have many schools visit the Museum. The Museum holds many historical pieces within the collection from the colonial period up to the present time. Our Volunteers assist in maintaining the Military History that commenced here, in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney in 1848, including 3 Victoria Crosses. Many children who attend, whether with their school or with family can follow our history through the Museum from Gallery to Gallery as our volunteers are there to be with them on their journey.
