Graceful Community Services Inc.

Purposes The purposes of the Association are: (a) To collaborate with Councils and other stakeholders to offer opportunity to homeless people by providing assessments and recommended social services to them. We all support the long-term unemployed through collaboration with our job active partners. (b) To prevent young people entering the Criminal Justice System.The vast majority of our young people from diverse backgrounds are responsible members of society. However, a small number do get involved in criminal activities and anti-social behaviours. The Graceful Community Service Inc needs to deal with the problems that can cause young people to offend including poverty, lack of education and low attainment. The Graceful Community Service Inc will provide an early intervention with children and families at risk to give them the basic support they need to prosper. The Graceful Community Service will act quickly and effectively to turn their lives around. The Graceful Community Service Inc- Focuses on tackling the causes of offending by young people and supporting those who offend to change their behaviour. The aim is to avoid young people entering the criminal justice system unless absolutely necessary (c) To provide K-12 learning support to children and adults from diverse cultural groups in our communities, closely following the Australian Curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods including one-on-one tutoring and computer based learning to allow learners to reach their full potential in their career aspirations through our the Graceful Community Service INC. (d) To operate an Information & Communications Technology DigiTech Activity for unemployed community youth groups through our Graceful Community Service INC. Work for the Dole program.
