For over a decade, PANSA – and its predecessor, the Perth African Nations Football Council – has worked to ease the transition of new arrivals from African nations into their new home in Western Australia. At the heart of our philosophy is social cohesion;we believe it is important for migrants to maintain their identity, while feeling they have a place in the wider Australian community. Sport is a language that we all understand. Most of the organisers and facilitators in our network are volunteers from multicultural backgrounds who are driven by passion for community and sport.
