Girls Friendly Society Perth

Almost 150 years ago Girls’ Friendly Society was founded in the UK to safeguard working-class country girls who had left their homes to seek work in the city. GFS Perth began to be shaped 140 years ago as migrants arrived in Western Australia. Today, GFS Perth continues, as an independent expression of the international organisation that works in 30+ countries. In WA we are small put growing not-for- profit creating welcoming spaces and places that enable friendship and belonging, and inspire people to thrive, alongside caring for creation at our West Swan site and various permaculture initiatives.
