City of Swan - Fleet and Waste Services

City of Swan residents and businesses have access to a diverse range of services aimed at promoting responsible waste management, recycling, and fostering sustainable practices within our community. As part of the current Western Australian government Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2030, the City of Swan will be joining other councils throughout Perth and Peel in rolling out the three bin kerbside collection system, inclusive of FOGO, beginning in 2024 and continuing through until 2027. FOGO stands for Food Organics and Garden Organics. Separating organic material from the general waste stream allows processors to recover this material and turn it into a useful product – compost.
