Feast Festival

Feast Festival is an arts and cultural event that brings together a variety of LGBTQIA+ performers, artists, communities, and audiences. The festival brings together local, interstate, and worldwide artists to create a unique experience. With a history that dates back to 1997, Feast has been and continues to be South Australia’s welcoming and safe environment for the community to express themselves. Feast operates as an open-access platform for two weeks during the month of November, popularly known as 'Pridevember' to South Australians. 900+ artists, performers, volunteers and production crew helped to produce the 82 events for Feast Festival 2024, across multi-disciplinary art forms from cabaret, theatre, comedy, visual art, music, community forums, workshops to sporting events and more. “Feast is storytelling at its finest. Stories that make you cry and make you laugh. Coming out stories. Stories of pain and despair. Stories of queer joy. Stories that make you feel seen and heard. Stories that can make you feel visible and make you want to stay. Stories that affirm your existence and help you discover who you are” - Tish Naughton, CEO Feast Festival Feast Festival is more than just a platform for queer artists. We showcase the strengths and resilience of LGBTQIA+ people and communities. Arts & Culture have the power to change hearts and minds - Join us in 2025, we want to hear and share your story! After a period of significant reflection and change, Feast Festival is poised to consolidate its position as a critical platform for LGBTQIA+ voices, stories and communities, to be positioned as one of South Australia’s key cultural organisations.
