Ballarat North United Soccer Club

BNUSC is a grass roots soccer club in the Ballarat & District Soccer Association (BDSA). Members of Football Victoria, we are one of the largest clubs in the BDSA, with players from Miniroos (under 7s) through to Senior Women and Men's competitions. In the early stages of a partnership with LV Football, we also offer off season and additional coaching clinics to our juniors and pre-school. We are looking to expand our club, develop further opportunities for the growth and skill of our players and coaches and create pathways for our players to continue when they have achieved all they can within our club. With our new Volunteer Program we aim to create a "many hands make light work" environment, with more people carrying the load to lighten the burden on our highly dedicated, but small pool of volunteers. We aim to strengthen community ties and offer new opportunities for students, job seekers and retirees to come to our club for educational, work experience or centrelink funded opportunities. Our club is managed by a Board of 9 Directors including an Executive of President, Vice President, Treasurer & Secretary plus 5 General Directors. Each General Director (and the Vice President) has a specialist area of the club that they oversee / liaise with the Board, and each volunteer position sits under one of those specialist areas. This includes: * Teams (Junior / Senior Coordinators, Coaches, Team Managers) * On Field (Game Day, Player Welfare, Marshalls, Pitch Marking) * Volunteers (Canteen, Registrations, Bar, Events Helpers) * Communication & Media (Socials, Website, Email, Historian, Diversity) * Fundraising (Sponsorship, Kits & Merch, Events, Grants) * Facilities (Keys, Lights, Recycling, Store Room, Change Rooms)
