Fostercare Sports is an Australian charity that helps children in foster and out-of-home care connect with local sports clubs so they can experience the benefits of sport, including confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging.
We work with foster families, support organisations and community sports clubs to remove barriers such as registration fees, uniforms and late-season entry, helping children quickly join a team in their local community.
In our first year we supported over 140 children across multiple states to participate in sport, and we are continuing to expand our impact across Australia. Our mission is simple: help every child in foster care find their team.
