The Queensland Wattle Association (QWA) promotes the celebration of wattle (Acacia) across Queensland, promotes the planting and cultivation of wattles and promotes the sharing of history, knowledge and the importance of wattle to Queensland and Australia. QWA activities include Wattle Bloom Walks through botanic gardens, talks to community groups, schools and libraries and encourages the planting of wattles.
