Since 1902, The Port Hedland Turf Club has been one of the heartlands of racing and social events in the Pilbara Region.
The Club has been entertaining the local community and tourists with unforgettable events, with Ladies Day and Port Hedland Cup important fixtures on the social calendar.
The club promotes a relaxed family friendly/country atmosphere, combined with the traditions and elegance of racing.
Ever since the Club’s inauguration, well over a hundred years ago, it has played a vital role in the formation of Port Hedland’s sense of identity, from the early pioneer pastoralist days through to the modern resource boom times.
