The Royal South Street Society Ballarat Eisteddfod has continuously pioneered the realm of performing arts in Australia since its inception in 1891. For over a century, we have consistently refined and elevated performance opportunities, catalysing innovation and fostering new talent within the rich tapestry of Australia’s artistic landscape
Our Eisteddfod runs over four months of every year and incorporates dance, calisthenics, vocal, pianoforte, speech, drama, comedy, debating, all abilities, instrumental and choral. We are a not-for-profit organisation that relies on volunteers and financial support to provide and expand our services to the community.
