WASFF

Swancon is a small community based Science Fiction Convention held once a year for authors, professional writers, fans and interested friends. The governing body for this convention is the WA Science Fiction Foundation (WASFF). Swancon is WA's annual speculative fiction convention celebrating SF, fantasy, and other speculative fiction books, TV and pop-culture. It is the longest continuously running science fiction convention in Australia. We have approximately 200 participants every year who are from all walks of life, social and economic backgrounds and we promote gender diversity and neurodivergent attendees. For one weekend, participants can join a couple of hundred fans to discuss and celebrate their favourite speculative fiction books, tv shows, graphic novels and films. Whether they’re looking for in-depth discussion, gaming, or just casual conversation with their favourite authors and fellow fans, Swancon has it all. Membership gives participants access to every event and guest.
