Educational & professional Scholarships are awarded to women, supporting professional development and education. Safety and living skills Supporting women’s refuges and homeless services in Canberra and surrounding areas with emergency toiletry packs, linen, towels, sleeping bags and swags, and kitchen packs for when the women move into public housing. Professional & political Conducting the “Young Women in Public Affairs Award”, a Zonta International program for young women aged between 16 & 20, who do volunteer work in their local community. Club applications open in October each year. There is a $500 prize from the Club, plus the chance to win at District and International levels.
