EdConnect Australia places volunteers into schools to work alongside students at educational risk. Volunteers work in classrooms, supporting teaching staff to deliver programs, or with students one-to-one, working on core skill development, especially literacy and numeracy. EdConnect volunteers also mentor students, supporting their well-being and providing an alternative caring adult upon whom they can rely. EdConnect volunteers are fully trained, ensuring they get the most from their volunteering opportunity while providing students with the best possible opportunity to develop and grow.
