QSHBA

QSHBA, short for Qld Services Heritage Band Assoc was established 20 years ago in Wynnum to provide musical instrument tuition and performance opportunities for its members of all ages and stages. QSHBA manages five bands which attend on average 22 events per year including the Ekka, Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Festival, the Brisbane City Anzac Day Parade to name a few. QSHBA hosts the Brisbane Bayside Carols, and plays a significant part in collaboration of and/or supporting events in the Wynnum/Manly area. We value inclusivity, community, engagement and empowerment. There are lots of activities behind the scenes, and on the ground at events and festivals which can be very exciting for all involved; music is life and our mission is to bring entertainment and culture to the community.
