The FIFO Family Project

The FIFO Family Project is a grassroots, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) workers and their families across Australia. Founded in 2024 by former FIFO worker and mother of two, Vicky Pellowe, the project addresses the unique challenges faced by FIFO families by providing community events, educational resources, and workplace wellbeing initiatives. Through monthly meet-ups, workshops and an upcoming Knowledge Hub, The FIFO Family Project fosters connection, resilience and sustainable FIFO lifestyles, ensuring that every member of the FIFO family receives the necessary support to navigate this unique lifestyle.
