Deaf Advocacy, Sports and Recreation ACT (DeafACT)

Deaf Advocacy, Sports and Recreation ACT Inc.(DeafACT) was established in 2010 and is the peak body for deaf and hard of hearing people in the ACT with a goal to support Advocacy, Sports and Recreation groups; promote the recognition and acceptance of methods of communication preferred by Deaf people; and, to foster pride in the Deaf community, its language and culture.
