Juniper is a nonprofit organisation that offers residential aged care across the metropolitan area. Volunteers bring new energy and warm relationships to our residents and are valued and appreciated by the organisation and those we care for. Would you like to help break down the social isolation of the elderly participants by being a friendly soul, willing to have a chat and a laugh, helping with memory groups or activities to keep participants at physical capacity and helping them to keep mentally and physically active. Working alongside and under the guidance of the Juniper Lifestyle coordinators, physiotherapist and the activity team as a volunteer, you will be making a real difference to the lives of the participants. Simple things such as helping our residents with crosswords can really assist them.
