Aberlea has a long and proud history of providing a variety of services to the seniors community in the Mortlake and surrounding region. Located at 30 Shaw Street in Mortlake, Aberlea currently houses a 40-bed residential aged care facility (with potential for future expansion) and offers a wide variety of community services programs within the region such as day respite and meals on wheels. In addition, Aberlea also operates Brumley Homes which consists of 10 independent living units and further independent living units are planned in Timboon. Our mission is to enable seniors to remain within their community, supported by high-quality, compassionate care that respects their needs and preferences. We aim to deliver innovative, flexible accommodation and care options tailored to the changing expectations of our ageing population. Aberlea’s operations not only provide critical care for local seniors but also contribute significantly to the social and economic fabric of Mortlake. Aberlea is a major regional employer, offering employment across nursing, care, administration, maintenance and hospitality.
