Inglewood Mount Lawley Community Garden

IMLCG was founded in 2019 to facilitate community engagement. It has become a hub for vibrant and exciting community involvement, revolving around the practice of inclusiveness and sustainable gardening. All members can participate in the design, establishment and on-going development of the community garden. Member benefit from weekly open sheds and crops from the communal beds. Each week we meet to weed, harvest, turn the compost and any other tasks which need doing that week. We run frequent social events such as sundowners, breakfasts, high teas for members, and part in open days where we try to get more involved in the local community. Everything at the garden is volunteer based, with many members of the garden taking time out of their days to help run the administration and physical side of the garden.
