History West is the face of our activities, managed by The Royal Western Australian Historical Society, est in 1926. A not-for-profit, Nedlands-based Charity focused on the encouragement of study, writing, and enjoyment of the history of Western Australia, in all its cultural diversity.
We welcome people of all ages with an interest in learning and understanding of the cultural heritage of Perth and Western Australia. A dedicated research library, museum and bookshop located onsite, along with monthly community talks and events all year round.
History West is now seeking volunteers and new members who would like to take part in next year's centenary celebrations, a milestone 100 years!
