The Rare Breeds Trust of Australia is charity established to protect and preserve endangered livestock breeds.
They do this by informing the livestock community and the general public about the need to protect domestic livestock breeds, identifying and profiling breeds at risk of loss through rare breed watchlists and breed overviews, maintaining directories of breeders for rare livestock and poultry.
