The Jordan River Service (JRS) is part of Tasmania’s Neighbourhood House network of over 30 community hubs building stronger, more connected communities. With Community/Neighbourhood Houses in Bridgewater and Gagebrook, we’ve been supporting local people for more than 30 years. Serving the communities of Bridgewater, Gagebrook and Herdsman's Cove (kutalayna), our Houses are welcoming spaces where everyone is welcome. We put people first and community always at the centre of what we do - whether that’s learning a new skill, lending a hand, or just having a cuppa and a chat. Volunteers are central to our work. By joining us, you’ll meet new people, use your skills (or learn new ones), and be part of something that makes a genuine difference in your community.
