Formed in 1971, the Lilydale & District Historical Society is an incorporated association and affiliated with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria.
We actively researched, published, promoted, conserved the history of our District to give our ecommunity a window into our past. We hold an extensive paper-based archive on people, places and events of the area, including Dame Nellie Melba and her family.
