Parkinson's WA's mission is to encourage, develop and implement Programs for the treatment, care and support of people with Parkinson's and their family and carers. We provide Parkinson's Nurse Specialists who cover the metropolitan and some regional areas and make home visits to assist people in managing their condition. Parkinson's WA oversees the running of 20 Support Groups across WA, mainly led by Volunteers. We provide 7 regular activity classes for people with Parkinson's and their Partners/Carers including Dance, Singing, Yoga and Tai Chi. Through its services, Parkinson's WA aims to help the person with Parkinson's remain as independent as possible with the greatest quality of life that can be achieved.
