The Neighbourhood Hub is the heart of our neighbourhood, offering a range of services, events, and programs designed to connect, support, and engage our local Mackay community. As a locally based innovative neighbourhood hub, we are connected and accessible for children, youth, families and culturally diverse members of our community. We provide information and referrals to all who need our support. Our responsive programs and events build capability through a strength-based community development approach. Our goal is to build resilience and capacity in our community enabling them to support and empower each other. Our programs include: Food Division programs including our popular Mid Week Meal Multicultural and Migrant Support services Integrated Family Support programs Emergency relief and food donations Community events and activities that bring people together Family Support Programs Seniors Connect Program Located at both 4 George Street and 43 Shakespeare Street we are powered by people and driven by community.
