Bassendean Preservation Group

Bassendean Preservation Group Inc. (BPG) is a volunteer-run community group focussed on native bush conservation in the Bassendean area. BPG started 40 years ago as a result of a successful campaign to prevent a marina development over the Ashfield Flats, the largest remaining river flat in the Perth metropolitan area. We run a nursery in Ascot which grows local native plants for revegetation efforts in Bassendean's bushland.
