Broome Historical Society
The Broome Historical Society was founded in 1975 to preserve the history of Broome and safeguard objects of local significance. With the Broome museum occupying three heritage buildings in Town Beach, the Society’s work has been recognised with a WA Heritage Award and a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Commendation. The Broom Historical Society is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation.
