The Knox Environment Society runs a volunteer community nursery in Ferntree Gully that grows locally indigenous plants that it sells to the general public and for orders as well. We have 350 members and around 100 people who volunteer on a regular basis. We produce around 70,000 plants per year from seed, cuttings and division.
