Roses in the Ocean is Australia’s leading lived experience of suicide organisation. We exist to save lives and to reduce emotional distress and pain. Empowering the community to change the way suicide is spoken about and understood, we operate to encourage everyone to play an active part in the prevention of suicide. Through the stories and wisdom of those with a lived experience of suicide, our primary objectives are to: * Promote awareness of the high levels of suicide in our communities and reduce stigma * Educate Australians about early warning signs of suicide and where to find help * Encourage help-seeking behaviours from those at risk of suicide, their family & friends * Raise funds for suicide prevention and support initiatives
