Adelaide Kite Flyers Assocation

AKFA (the Adelaide Kite Flyers Association) was founded in late 1992. The hey-day of kite books and sport-kite flying! The Association was formed by a group of kite enthusiasts who saw a need for organized events. People would be able to come together to share both their love for kiting and related knowledge. Interested kite fliers would be able to develop their skills in the company of others more knowledgeable. These days, the AKFA is the Club behind the Adelaide International Kite Festival, and participate in many other community events throughout SA.
