Hands Hearts Hope is a Melbourne-based grassroots charity that is proudly 100% volunteer-run. Our mission is simple — to ensure that no one is left behind, and that every person experiencing hardship is met with dignity, kindness, and real support. We provide street outreach across Melbourne, including after-hours support when many services are unavailable. Our volunteers deliver food, warm clothing, blankets, and essential supplies to people experiencing homelessness, as well as support to vulnerable families and individuals doing it tough. A key part of our work is food rescue. We collect and redistribute large volumes of food each week, ensuring it reaches those who need it most rather than going to waste. What makes Hands Hearts Hope unique is our grassroots approach. Every volunteer plays a vital role, and all support goes directly back into the community. We believe in standing alongside people, building trust, and offering not just practical help, but genuine human connection.
