CoRE links education, industry, community, and government (State and Federal) to meet the needs of students and deliver future sustainable workforces for Australian industry. CoRE is the acronym for the Centre of Resource Excellence. Acting on behalf of others, we encourage students with learning and the courage to empower themselves to passionately pursue STEM career pathways, underpinned by 21st-century enterprise and technical skill development. Founded on developing, nurturing and promoting home-grown talent to facilitate the employment needs of our resources sector - development of CoRE has been an almost 20-year journey, based on the simple premise that education, industry, community, and government should connect to work collaboratively and provide more meaningful, relevant education pathways to students. A progressive Learning Model which is encouraging all types of students to explore the possibilities, combining the sciences, technology, engineering, arts, and maths to develop novel solutions to real-world problems.
