At the Ian Mavor Foundation, home to Paradise Kids Australia, everything we do is about connection, compassion, and making sure no child faces grief alone. For over 30 years, Paradise Kids has supported children, teenagers, and families through life’s most challenging moments, including death, loss, and major life change. We create safe, supportive spaces where children feel seen, heard, and gently supported as they navigate their grief. Through the Ian Mavor Foundation, this care is extended beyond face-to-face programs into education and online support, helping reach families wherever they are, including regional and remote communities. As a volunteer, you become part of that support system. You don’t need to have all the answers, just a willingness to listen, show kindness, and be present. Whether you’re supporting programs, events, or behind the scenes, your time and care help create meaningful moments for children and families who need it most. Many of our volunteers say they gain just as much as they give, a sense of purpose, connection, and the knowledge that they are making a real difference.
