BGT is a not-for-profit organisation that has been part of the fabric of western Victoria for more than 40 years, connecting people, community and industry through real employment pathways. At our core is a simple purpose: to create positive life stories - particularly for those who face barriers to work and need the right support to get started. Alongside our role as a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we work closely with employers to deliver apprenticeships, traineeships and workforce solutions that genuinely meet business needs. Just as importantly, our community services support vulnerable and disadvantaged people to build confidence, develop skills, and find pathways into training and employment. We deliver nationally recognised training across disability and aged care, early childhood education and care, engineering, business, and barbering, as well as essential short courses such as First Aid and White Card. As workforce needs continue to shift, we are also expanding our flexible and customised training options to better support both individuals and industry. Based at Barkly Square in Ballarat and operating across western Victoria, BGT partners with organisations of all sizes. Our approach is hands-on and personal, with strong completion rates and a clear focus on long-term outcomes - for individuals, businesses and the broader community.
