****About Spoke to a Bloke**** Spoke to a Bloke is an Australian men's mental health charity built on one simple belief: One conversation can change a life. The charity was founded by Scott, Paul and Matt after losing their brother and mate, Nick, to suicide while he was struggling with his mental health. Before Nick passed, he organised an annual 25km walk with a handful of mates. It wasn't a fundraiser or a major event - it was simply an opportunity to get outside, spend time together and check in on one another. After losing Nick, Scott, Paul and Matt realised they could do more. What started as one walk between mates has grown into Walk for a Bloke - a nationwide movement that brings communities together to walk, talk and create spaces where men feel connected, supported and reminded they don't have to face life's challenges alone. Today, Spoke to a Bloke partners with schools, sporting clubs, workplaces and local communities across Australia and internationally to help create more opportunities for connection before people reach crisis. We don't claim to have all the answers. We simply believe conversations save lives.
