Victorian Malleefowl Recovery Group

VMRG is a large citizen science organisation. Over 60 volunteers visit more than 1400 known malleefowl nests in 46 defined grids throughout Victoria (mostly in the Mallee and Wimmera regions). Data collected is used to determine breeding activity of Malleefowl which are endangered in Victoria. Our aim is to promote the conservation of Malleefowl and lobby for the enhancement of current Malleefowl habitat.
