On the Way Moreton Bay Inc. is a registered Australian charity and Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) based in Deception Bay. We provide free weekly community dinners, emergency food hampers, and practical support to people experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, mental health challenges, disability, addiction, and social isolation.
We are a small grassroots, volunteer-run charity with no ongoing government funding. We currently support around 60–65 people each week through our community meals and provide emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need.
We are passionate about creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone is treated with dignity, respect and compassion. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us make a real difference in the Moreton Bay community.
